Mr. X joke

Mr. X and his four friends went to a nearby town, to watch night show of a movie. On their return, they missed their last bus to their place and there was no alternate transportation available. All of them were worried about what to do.

Then Mr. X asked. "How far is our place from here?".

One of the friends said, "10 kilo metres".

Mr. X said, "Then why can't we walk 2 km each, to reach our place?".
